Hello all, sorry about the long hiatus, i've been in nigeria since the beginning of this year trying to prepare for my Nigerian medical board exams. I'll be needing your prayers, my exams are on the 1st and 2nd of April. Blogging will resume after exams, fingers crossed.

Happy New year everyone, i'm so glad i'm alive to see the year 2012. A lot has happened with me this past year, I've been through highs and lows but no year has had this much impact on my life. I am really grateful to God for a wonderful year and i look on to him for his continuing mercies in the coming year. Cheers!!!!

Sequins

If anyone had told me that i would ever admire sequins, i would have called them crazy but right now i can't help it. When styled properly and allowing the sequin piece to be the focal point, it can look amazing on all shapes and can be worn from day to night. I'm more drawn to the sequin bandage or pencil skirts....don't know,  i've been really drawn to skirts of late.
Go ahead and try it out, lemme know what you think.

Can't get enough of it : Asymmetric hems

MTN LFDW

If you've been active on the Nigerian blogosphere lately you must have heard about the just concluded Lagos fashion and design week. I must commend the organisers on a job well done. I didn't attend but from the pictures and comments from people who attended, it was well executed.
This is just a few of the designs i (personally, to my taste) fancied, but in all i must say that the designers who participated all had amazing collections.

SUNNY ROSE: i really enjoyed her work, she has definitely won a place in my heart.

GREY: i don't care much about the sheer top, but i thought it was a lovely dress.

GREY: i love the weave pattern and the colour mix.

JEWEL BY LISA: I don't know why but i really love this dress.
Other designers that stood out for me are MAKI OH; she did an amazing job, i just felt there was too much exposure. That aside, she's an amazing designer. KELECHI ODU really represented for the men.

Just for fun
